A professional saxophone quartet formed in Mannheim in November 2009, SaxShop, garnered enthusiasm in the Rhein-Neckar region within no time. The familiarity of these four musicians allows Saxshop to present formidable and uniquely arranged compositions in their characteristic style.

The combination of soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones is a rarity among professional combos and therefore offers a unique musical experience. The audience will enjoy their wide range of jazz, rock and pop - from ballads to hot and cool rhythms.

These two musicians with degrees in Music have committed themselves to jazz. They inspire their audiences at numerous events like vernissages, weddings, company parties and many more. The (P)fis Quintet

The melodic and colorful compositions of Wayne Shorter and Joe Henderson form the basis of this project. Led by jazz saxophonist Nicolai Pfisterer, their performance is influenced by numerous international jazz stars including John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon and Wayne Shorter.

Having played together for many years, these five musicians from Mannheim aim to move tradition without moving too far away from it, which is mirrored in their unique style. They involve the audience in their music from the very first moment they set foot on stage.

Lazy Jacks

For ten years, the name 'Lazy Jacks' has been a synonym for excellent groove jazz combined with a big serving of funk and a pinch of soul. They play their own amazing original compositions as well as newly arranged standards. From Miles Davis to Jamie Cullum – as long as it grooves!

With a driving rhythm section, punchy brass riffs in Big Band style and soul-filled vocals which touch your heart, 'Lazy Jacks' concerts will keep you entertained from start to finale.
